Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities:
We're in search of an exceptional TypeScript Senior Engineer to contribute to the development of our streaming services. As a vital member of our team, you'll be instrumental in crafting frontend applications using TypeScript/JavaScript. Your role will involve creating internal tools and proofs-of-concept that seamlessly integrate with Lively's SDK and API for video broadcasting, playback, web conferencing, and other functions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript and NodeJS
- Solid understanding of Web APIs (DOM, WebSocket, WebRTC, etc.), browser networking, and HTTP protocol
- Strong documentation skills, both in reading and writing, ensuring high-quality documentation throughout the development process
- Demonstrated experience delivering scalable and robust code to production environments
- Ability to actively engage in technical discussions with team members
- Comfortable collaborating within a fully remote team environment
- Familiarity with Streaming Protocols (WebRTC, RTP, HLS, etc.)
- Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks
- Proficiency in unit testing and writing testable code
- Previous experience building internal tools focused on delivering value to developers or support staff
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to other developer’s code in a collaborative manner
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of innovating new solutions to existing challenges
- Open-minded and adaptable, unafraid of facing difficulties
- Ability to work independently, devising creative approaches to deliver value through code

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $160K-$180K. This position will also include a profit sharing that is dependent on a variety of factors.
